In the short-term, this charge really isn�t very important. On its own, it likely won�t net Lindsay anything more than a minor fine or a few hours or probation. The real issue of importance is whether the judge in Lohan�s jewelry theft case decides to play hardball. Six months ago, she likely would have looked at the totality of the star�s recent resume (new jobs, few headlines, completed community service) and decided this was a minor speed bump, but with the sheer number of recent allegations lobbed in her direction, it seems like a real possibility Lohan could spend at least a few weeks, if not longer, in jail.
