Joining Matthew McConaughey In AIDS Drama

Watch Skyfall online. With Ben Affleck taking over the world thanks to his directing and acting work on Argo, I've been wondering when we could see a similar revival for his wife, Jennifer Garner. The Alias star was pretty much as famous and well-employed as he was when they met on the set of Daredevil in 2004, but in the time that he's spent reinventing himself as a classy director. Watch Pitch Perfect Online. she's been taking a handful of roles in small, relatively unloved movies ranging from total flops (The Odd Life of Timothy Green, Butter) to blockbusters everyone would choose not to remember (Valentine's Day, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past).

Watch Resident Evil Retribution Online. The one exception on that list is Juno, the smash indie hit in which Garner turned in a terrific, understated supporting performance as the would-be adoptive mom to Ellen Page's unborn baby. And it's that kind of supporting work that I hope Garner turns in again in her next role, in a movie with a ton of potential. Watch Taken 2 Online. Deadline reports that Garner is in talks to join Matthew McConaughey in The Dallas Buyers Club, a drama that's been taking shape recently as a starring role for McConaughey, who would play an AIDS patient in Texas in the 80s who organized a ring for fellow patients to access HIV medicine smuggled into the country from Mexico. Garner would be taking on the role once set for Hilary Swank, though it's unclear how big the part is or what the character is, exactly.

Download Skyfall Movie. Reporting the news, Collider points out that Lawrence will be working on a really compressed timeline to make all of these movies happen. Catching Fire, currently in production, is set for release November 22 next year, and part one of Mockingjay is due just a year later, on November 21, 2014. Download Pitch Perfect Movie. The entire series will close up on November 20, 2015, which is when the second part of Mockingjay will be release. That year-long gap is the same strategy employed by the Twilight series, which unleashes Breaking Dawn: Part Two this month, a full year after the release of the first part. I still think I prefer the way that the Harry Potter franchise did it, releasing Deathly Hallows: Part One in November of 2010, and brought out the second part just 7 months later in July.

Deadline also note that they're casting the role of a cross-dresser, which sounds like it could be the "showy" supporting role that Gael Garcia Bernal was lining up for recently. I'd be sorry to hear if Bernal has dropped out, since he's been on a serious roll lately, but with the project coming together to be sold at the American Film Market this week, you can never count on anything being certain. But McConaughey's passion for the project-- have you seen the crazy amount of weight he's losing for this role?-- means it will almost definitely happen, and given how many strong performances he's turned in this year, it ought to be something to look forward to, especially with Garner now potentially on board.
