Ice Cube will appear on the 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards tomorrow night on the BET Network. Cube will receive the "I AM HIP-HOP" Icon Award. As only the fourth individual to receive this award, Cube is recognized for his notable contributions of outstanding significance to the hip-hop community.

BET will present Ice Cube with the prestigious "I AM HIP-HOP" Icon Award during the BET Hip Hop Awards, which air October 27th on the BET Network.

The "I AM HIP-HOP" Icon Award recognizes those who have made notable contributions of outstanding significance to the hip-hop community.

Ice Cube will join the BET HIP-HOP AWARDS' Hall of Fame as the fourth "I AM HIP-HOP" Icon Award honoree. Past recipients of this prestigious award include Grandmaster Flash, KRS ONE and Russell Simmons.

Chuck D and Young Jeezy will introduce and present Ice Cube with the award.
